Crossing Arts presents “Needle-Felted Painting” with artist Lisa Jordan from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 29.
Jordan, the director of Crossing Arts, has been felting since 2006 and enjoys sharing this medium with other individuals and has taught all over the state.
Employing a distinctive needle and wool, college students will find out to needle-felt a hugely textured, 5-inch by 7-inch 3D “painting” of a spring nest complete of eggs.
Students will be presented with all the wool and products necessary to full their portray, and will preserve their mats, needles and leftover materials just after the class. We will examine methods for developing texture, mixing colour and creating shapes.
This course is $55 to attend. Course dimension is limited to six. Masks are expected. Crossing Arts users, as a reward of membership, will get a $10 present card when attending the course.
