The extraordinary winners of the 2022 Cellular Images Awards

In the suitable arms, smartphones are capable of awe-inspiring images – as these photographs display.

They are all photographs taken on mobiles and tablets that wowed the judges in the 2022 Cell Images Awards (MPA)

Now in its 11th 12 months, the competitors received a staggering 5,500 image submissions from additional than 90 nations around the environment. 

Six pro judges have now exposed the winner pics, picking out winners from a shortlisted line-up across 12 various groups like Landscape, Black and White, and Silhouette. 

Scooping the top place was Shanghai-dependent beginner photographer Liu KunKun, whose portfolio – captured on an Apple Apple iphone12 ProMax – gained him the title of the MPA Photographer of the 12 months. Choose Rodrigo Rivas stated of his work: ‘He has a terrific mastery of geometry and viewpoint and taken with each other with color and minimalism he transmits a photographic, particular design and style into his own voice.’
