When Palace Social opened in the former Palace Bowling Lanes in Bellaire in 2021, it gave Houston families a new place to play with games and food options galore.

The success of that first entertainment and dining concept has spawned a second Palace Social now open at 5950 Fairmont Pkwy. in Pasadena.
Housed in the former iT’Z Family Food & Fun, the 60,000-square-foot complex offers a 12-lane bowling alley, 70 arcade games, pool tables, bumper cars, and two levels of laser tag. As for food, there’s a classic American menu (burgers, nachos, wings, po’boys, salads, and pizza) served in a 175-seat dining room, and adults can enjoy tap beer selections and cocktails such as martinis, margaritas, and ranch waters.

GOOD MORNING: New German coffee shop chain opens its first U.S. location in Bellaire

The family-friendly operation from Palace Social Hospitality Group is twice the size of the original location at 4191 Bellaire.

While Palace Social obviously appeals to kiddies for birthday parties and school field trips, it also is positioning itself for adults with private rooms with state-of-the-art audio and visual equipment for corporate events and fundraisers.

There are also special weekly activations including “Kids Eat Free” Tuesday when children under 10 get a free kid’s entrée with the purchase of an adult entrée; and half-off bowling and bowling shoes on Wednesday. Happy hour also is offered Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
