The College of Visual Arts is reviewing Manhattan professor Shellyne Rodriguez’s work following she threatened a Submit reporter with a machete and went viral for cursing out anti-abortion pupils at an additional university.

The unhinged arts professor is below investigation by the NYPD after she was filmed holding the blade to the veteran reporter’s neck while threatening to “chop” him up outdoors her Bronx condominium Tuesday.

“SVA is aware of the incidents involving one particular of our faculty customers, Shellyne Rodriguez, who is not presently teaching any programs at the College,” a spokesperson for the personal faculty informed The Article on Wednesday.

“We are examining to determine any possible up coming steps.”

Rodriguez, who is a faculty member inside of the personal artwork school’s BFA Fine Arts Department, was not scheduled to educate any lessons around the summer — even in advance of the incidents this month.

Rodriguez was fired from Hunter College or university, where by she labored as an adjunct artwork professor, just hours just after the machete incident unfolded.

“Hunter University strongly condemns the unacceptable actions of Shellyne Rodriguez and has taken immediate action,” college spokesman Vince Dimiceli said Tuesday.

Tuesday’s ordeal unfolded when the Publish reporter knocked on Rodriguez’s doorway to request for an interview following footage of her cursing out professional-life college students at Hunter College or university before this month went viral.

“Get the f–k away from my doorway, or I’m gonna chop you up with this machete,” the manic professor screamed in advance of barging out and keeping the blade to the reporter’s neck.

Right after the reporter and a photographer exited the condominium setting up, Rodriguez — still armed with the machete — chased them down the street and kicked one particular of them in the shins.

“If I see you on this block a person far more f–king time, you are gonna …,” Rodriguez reported.

“Get the f–k off the block! Get the f–k out of listed here, yo!”

Rodriguez could encounter assault and other expenses about the scary altercation, legislation enforcement sources said.
