Learn Asia competition established for downtown Panama City’s McKenzie Park

PANAMA City — Various Asian cultures will be on whole display this weekend in downtown Panama City in celebration of Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

The public is invited to the inaugural Explore Asia festival which will debut on Saturday from 3-8 p.m. at McKenzie Park, 36 Oak Ave. The event is the vision of Demonstrating the Ability to Deploy Serve, Restore, and Aid (DADSRA).

Michelle Clay, govt director of DADSRA, claimed the event’s main reason is to spotlight assorted cultures inside the Asian American local community and educate others by various kinds of entertainment.
