When John Legend was being honored for his musical achievements, the Grammy singer utilised the Recording Academy stage to fork out homage to a Black new music lifestyle that formed himself and the earth
LAS VEGAS — As John Legend was honored for his musical achievements Saturday — the night in advance of the Grammy Awards — the singer used the Recording Academy stage to pay back homage to a Black audio society that has shaped him and the wider environment of audio.
Legend described how Black songs has established developments for listeners across the world, talking at the academy’s Black Songs Collective celebration in Las Vegas, exactly where he was presented the World Affect Award for his own and specialist achievements in the music sector.
