It’s Christmas in July, and the community can help Waxahachie ISD students in need start the school year off right with a new outfit. Students can be adopted from the Christmas trees in the following locations:

Interested in joining the Ellis County Master Gardeners? Make plans to attend an intern meet and greet and information session from 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, at First Baptist Waxahachie, 450 E. U.S. Highway 287 Bypass. The come-and-go meeting is for those interested in applying to the fall training sessions for Master Gardeners. Applicants need an interest in helping people, an ability and desire to learn, a willingness to provide unbiased, research-based information and be a team player.
